Nike Flyknit: Turning a feature into a brand.
Problem/Creative Goals: Most people have no idea what fly knit is and that it actually increases product performance. Solution: When you have a unique, game changing, feature that is a part of many of your line extensions do you just add it to a laundry list of features to get lost with the stuff nobody cares about? NO you highlight it, and make it a brand itself that way people know about it, recognize it, and are shopping for it across line extensions, because it transcends line extensions. Now people are aware of the game changing Flyknit and are looking for and expecting it on their shoes instead of wondering why their LBJ's have a sweater cover on them.
