Problem/Creative Goals: Spotify wanted to become more relevant during drive times in the car, as most people still listen to the radio despite having their phones mobile devices readily available. Solution: Take advantage of a behavior mobile users are already doing; using navigation apps. By integrating Google maps api into Spotify Premium, hyper tailored playlists can be created based on traffic, location, date, time, weather, destination. No need to use navigation apps separately while quickly and easily creating playlists that are relevant and provide the surprise factor of radio.

Listen to music that is relevant, pertinent, and different every time you get into the car.

If you have ever opened up that random playlist on Spotify expecting something to match your liesurely drive according to the thumbnail pic and ended up getting a playlist that would rattle the paint off of your car Tripify would be the answer to that problem.

Tripify alleviates the need to be scrolling and scanning through premade playlists ahead of time. It requires no prior planning and has the immediacy and local relevancy of local radio.

Tripify also helps alleviates the skipping and scanning of playlists while driving. While also taking the place of jumping back and forth between navigation and music apps while driving. This is accomplished through Google maps integration into Spotify.
